Half a tank: $40

Filled the tank today. Well, I meant to fill it. I handed the guy $40 and said "Pump 1." It took about 30 seconds to put that much in the tank -- gas is $3.28 here for the cheapie kind. It's $3.50 for premium.

1. What sports are your kids signed up for?

1) Funny you should ask. I had been meaning to sign Kayla up for soccer but forgot until you reminded me here. She is signed up for U8 soccer.  Walter is signed up for T-ball with the local Little League. Granger is signed up as assistant coach for T-ball, I am signed up as assistant soccer coach and (get this) referee. I have no idea how to referee, but I'm signed up for training, too.

2) My emergency dinner = Chicken Noodle Soup and/or Papa Murphy's bake-at-home pizza. Or "Find yourselves something to eat I'm taking a nap."

3) My Seattle trip. How about over Spring Break in April?

4) What's up with Walter? He can wiggle his ears!

My favorite song ... anything mushy

Alltime favorite movie: Reds. Both because it's great and because of where I was in my life when it was out.

Favorite time of day: After midnight -- my  mind clears, writing comes easy, everything makes sense. If I can just stay awake until then.

First thing I do every day: Ablutions, of course.

Last thing I do every night:  Also mundane -- I check to make sure the alarm clock is on.
