After just four sewing classes, Kayla has completed her first project. She made a purse. She cut it out one day, sewed on it for a couple of days and then finished it this week, including putting the zipper in.
She said it wasn't hard.
Next project: Pajamas.

How cool is that! I'm so glad I took home ec/sewing in 8th grade. It made me unafraid of a sewing machine, and I still love crafting with it!

And zippers are hard! I'm a recovering 4-H sewer who found your site via Dooce. Keep it up Kayla!
